- Actually, this move makes *perfect* sense to me. With Gatezilla & co
- firming up their stranglehold on the average desktop, the set-top /
- Infobahn / information appliance market is a major entry point into the
- home. As a mail/news/cable control/interface unit, the Amiga tech stands
- head, sholders and ankles above the competition in capability, flexibility
- & maturity. Add a keyboard for more precise control & increased options,
- and voila! An Amiga in every household, the centerpiece of the family's
- online presence....

- I'd expect to see the Amiga system software standardise considerably, in
- terms of file formats, protocols, form factors, etc., and become more
- streamlined and even more stable & bulletproof than it is now (which is
- not bad).
